[15 May 2004|03:39pm] Most popular names in our area for new babies- Grayson- boy and girl Olivia Carson Emma Aiden Ella had her 2 weeks checkup yesterday. She has gained 2 ounces since her last appt. and is up to 5lbs 12 ozs.- they measured her at 18 1/2 inches so they must have done it wrong in the hospital or somewhere because I know she couldn't have shrunk ;) She is eating wonderfully and is nursed on demand about every 2-3 hours. Sometimes she goes alot longer at night. She is so good- rarely cries- just like Noah when he was a baby =D You can see her hospital pics here. Please leave a message for her/us. she's here! [04 May 2004|03:42pm] [ mood | drained ] Ella Anne was born on May 1st, 2004 @ 1:00pm. Her weight was 5lbs 11ozs and she is 19 inches long. She had to be observed for the first 2 days since she was born at 34 weeks and we just got discharged today. Pics to come later- we are really tired! 3 love our princess! comments/questions?

33 weeks. [21 Apr 2004|11:06am] [ mood | exhausted ] Stats as of 4/18: dilated to 2+cm, 50% effaced, -2 station, bulging water bag. No meds or bedrest- but on pelvic rest and labor precautions. comments/questions?

Pics from our 4D/3D ultrasound!! [03 Apr 2004|02:37pm] [ mood | enthralled ] It is only considered 3D with the still images- but we also have a 4D video of the whole thing- talk about cool! Stats on our princess... [30 Mar 2004|03:10pm] Yesterday we had another level 2 ultrasound to see how big she is and how my cervix is doing. Not much changes to the cervix- thank god! Ella is quite the little porker though weighing in at 3lbs 6oz already! She is engaged- head down right on the cervix and my cervix is still a bit long even though dialted already- so that is a good thing! 4D ultrasound has been rescheduled to 4/3 @ 11am due to Kenan's new job (which he LOVES!). Baby shower is also coming up soon- the 10th! Can't believe how fast things are going.. 2 love our princess! comments/questions?

26 weeks belly pics [05 Mar 2004|03:07pm] [ mood | rushed ] Sorry so late- been really busy! 2 love our princess! comments/questions?

ultrasound and appt details. [25 Feb 2004|01:14pm] I won't do 25 week belly pics since I just did some a few days ago. I'll do 26 week ones on schedule- next Wed.- though ;) My doc appt yesterday went pretty good! I have a cervical ultrasound coming up on March 29th- day after our 4D u/s! That will check for any cervical changes internal and external. At the u/s on Monday- Ella was head down and RIGHT on my cervix. So I've been having some pain/pressure down there as you can imagine. It's still early enough for her to move though. I don't know if she will though because at 26 weeks with Noah he was head down and the pressure he put on my cervix caused me to dilate to 2. I guess I'm just a glutton for punishment by wanting this last baby hehe. At the doc appt- it was determined that I have a sinus infection- blah. Talk about feeling like your head got ran over by a Mack truck! It is pretty important that I keep my fever from getting to high and I was given antibiotics and other meds to help it go away. My next appt is still on the 2nd and I will also be doing the Gestational Diabetes test that day. 2 love our princess! comments/questions?

[18 Feb 2004|07:53pm] [ mood | blah ] Just got back from labor and delivery. I have started to dilate *the very outer edge* and am 40-50% effaced. Good thing was that there was no cervical changes the duration I was there =) My pelvic pressure is due to Little Miss Ella laying sideways in my tummy and stretching out ;) I was advised to do a 2 day treatment of ibuprofin and pelvic rest. I go back next week to be rechecked. Fun stuff. comments/questions?
